“Zack will be back,” confirms executive producer Stephen Nathan.
As I first reported back in September, the landmark episode will flash back to Booth and Brennan’s first tag-team assignment (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/09/11/bones-scoop-booth-and-brennans-terrible-past-uncovered/). “We’ll see Zack during their first case,” says Nathan, “and we’ll see the first meeting between Booth and Zack.”

Yay we get Zack back! Boo it's only for a flashback episode. Maybe if we can all get together and make this the highest rated Bones episode ever, HH will have to recognize that the people miss Zack and that he is important to the show's success. Maybe this will get us a free Zack, back at the Jeffersonian. A girl can dream...

I'm dreaming right along with you.
It's insane that they don't bring Zack back on a permanent basis.
And I can't believe that with the way they wrote the story (Zack's "secret" with Sweets) that they didn't leave a loophole with which to do that.
The intern rotation is just not working.
Especially Daisy.
She is nails on the chalkboard annoying.
Here's to your idea that the ratings for the Zack's Back episode convince Hanson that Bones has a BIG HUGE whole in it,
without Zack.

I thought for sure after Zack told Sweets his secret, that there would be a shot at him coming back. That was the perfect opening.

And I agree, Daisy drives me nuts. She's got to go. I thought this rotating interns thing was going to come to some sort of conclusion.

Yes, and the "conclusion" should be Zack's return.
Hanson is such a nutjob.
