The new Entertainment Weekly just arrived and I've been scanning through the fall TV preview. I came across the Bones stuff and read something I had to share.

"And how much longer can the drama maintain the sexual tension between Brennan and Booth? "As long as we can do it without pissing off our audience" says Hanson (series creator). "The stock thing to do is put them together and then break 'em up again. And we'd like to be non-stock." "

That got me excited :p First that means they will get them together before the audience explodes. Second for those Crossing Jordan fans out there we've pretty much been assured we won't have another Jordan/Woody situation out there. (100 maybe together/definately not together cycles = super pissed off audience)

Another Tidbit:

" This is going to be a real dilemma for many viewers. The ratings winner may be decided by what's on each network at 8 p.m. - "Beauty and the Geek (http://www.meevee.com/channels/smartChannel.aspx?q=Beauty%20and%20the%20Geek)" on CW beginning Sept. 18, and "Bones (http://www.meevee.com/channels/smartChannel.aspx?q=Bones)" on Fox Sept. 25. The former may be "Reaper"-friendly, but witty forensic drama "Bones" may be growing into a genuine hit thanks to an increasing focus on the chemistry between stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel."

I think Bones is going to do great this season. Hopefully it will be such a hit in it's Tuesday 8pm slot that they'll move Idol in January instead of Bones.

I'm still learning my way around here and my other post was supposed to be under whitefire33's post. Let's hope this one is where it's supposed to be. I'm sure I'll get it eventually.:o

"Bones (Sept. 25, 8 p.m., Fox): Ryan O'Neal is back as Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) pops. A new serial killer story will be introduced in the season opener and continue throughout the season. Can you say, "CSI's miniature killer?""

The miniture killer angle was awesome for CSI last year. (And if anybody on here watches I'm been on pins and needles all summer waiting for Sara's fate). That will be awesome to have a storyline like that for Bones. And I love Brennan's dad. It will be fun to see interactions between the two of them this year.

You know last season was the first time I'd really in a long long time, been into CSI because of the minature story. So I'm all for something like that with Bones. I think it'd bee fun, and remember the guy who buried Brennan alive was never caught! So I've been waiting for that storyline to reappear. And I love her dad too.

On another note, I've heard rumor that Sara isn't going to be coming back to CSI. I hope that's not true, she's one of the few of the cast that I really like.

That would be interesting to bring back the guy that burried them alive. It would make a good season long storyline. I'm sure if they don't go with that, they'll do something good. Although now that you mentioned it I would like to see that killer found. Maybe they'll come back to it either way.

And on the CSI point, I hope they find Sara alive. I haven't heard anything about her, but I heard they hired a new woman to play a CSI. And from the look on Grissoms face in the commercial it doesn't look positive.

I'm loving all the hints about the new season. I thought season 2 was much better than season 1 and from all I've read, season 3 will be even better. Love that they will have a season long arc as well as weekly stories, love that Bones and Booth will be doing more "couples therapy" (as working partners) and it's great to read that the writers are going to try to stay away from soap style put them together tear them apart romance. I do wish Stephen Fry was returning as the therapist, but I think I read that he wouldn't be back.

I too am looking forward to Tuesday. Only one week to go people!!! I liked season 2 better than season 1 also...so I guess you could say I have high expectations for season 3.

September 19, 2007 http://www.buddytv.com/articles/Image/Michaela-Conlin1.jpgWhen Bones (http://www.buddytv.com/bones.aspx) returns for its third season next week, one of the most anticipated storylines for viewers to look forward to is the ongoing romance between Angela Montenegro, played by Michaela Conlin (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/profile/michaela-conlin.aspx) and Dr. Jack Hodgins, played by T.J. Thyne. When we last saw the lab couple, Angela was on the verge of exchanging ‘I Dos” with Hodgins until a blast from her past effectively halted the marital proceedings.

Michaela Conlin recently spoke to the Boston Herald about the sparks between her and her onscreen love interest on Bones.

“Our romance actually didn't happen as quickly as I think everyone thinks it did,” the 29-year old Conlin remarked. “I think it was happening all throughout season one, if you really watched.”

The Pennsylvania native who is of Chinese and Irish descent also hinted at what's in store for the forensically gifted duo.

“I think this season it's going to be really interesting to see where it goes, because Angela is definitely not one to be pinned down. She's definitely a free spirit who really fell in love. I think it's going to be really interesting to see how all of that plays out when you have a relationship that you've set up and what happens in the aftermath or what happens when you do leave the altar. We've been working on a lot of that.”

In other Bones news, production for the upcoming season was briefly disrupted when a fire broke out on the set during filming three weeks ago. Apparently, one of their electrical equipment accidentally set a piece of material ablaze. A production assistant immediately extinguished the flames, preventing any injury or major damage. Filming resumed that same afternoon as mainstays Emily Deschanel (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/profile/emily-deschanel.aspx), David Boreanaz (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/profile/david-boreanaz.aspx), Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Tamara Taylor (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/profile/tamara-taylor.aspx) and Eric Millegan (http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/profile/eric-millegan.aspx) reportedly all donned costumes for the new season's Halloween episode.

Bones returns on FOX Tuesday, September 25.

I wonder what's going to happen with Hodgins and Angela. I want to see her find the other guy and get divorced so she can marry him :)

Less than a week to go. I don't know about the rest of you but I can't wait.

I am itching to see where the Angela/Jack thing goes. I just love Angela's attitude toward everything in general....
