He dominated the game. I like Natalie and Mick was OK, but neither of them deserved to win. It wasn't even close. These people that say they aligned themselves with the 'villain' so he can take the bullets are just lying. Russell went to Natalie to make an alliance. It's not like she recognized him for being the best player and went to him. Basically, I'm saying she had NO strategy. Neither did Mick. That was evident by their speeches to the jury, most of whom just voted against Russell.

Russell was the star of this season for sure...and my guess is that the next all-stars game will include him.

Russ's fault in this last game was that he was so arrogant and thought so well of his own game play that he forgot that the jury were the ones who decide the fate of the million dollars.

That's where his game plan went south. Sure, playing each person as if he was loyal to them... can only go so far once the jury saw they were all tricked out of the end game.

I did think he played the most strategic game, but he did not play it well enough. Strategic game play doesn't always win the jury when they see their chance at a million go away because they shook hands and were then duped.

All-Stars should be quite interesting...lol.

Very good point. It always surprises me that the people vote on this as if this is the way the people are in real life. I believe Russell when he says he's honorable and trustworthy in real life. Eric was talking about how he couldn't vote for Russ because of the values it would promote (not the exact wording, but that's what his speech was getting at). I disagree with that... it's a game and Russ played the best! A lot of games involove deception. If a quarterback goes back and pretends to hand the ball off to the running back, fooling the defense, and then throws a long pass to a wide open wide receiver, nobody questions their tactics! If someone bluffs their way to winning a poker game, nobody questions their tactics. It's the game and they played it best.

Russ should have probably toned down the arrogance. He was sure everyone would see he played the game the best and throw their feelings aside. You're right, that was his big strategic mistake.

I can't wait for Heroes vs. Villains. It'll be very interesting to see who is even there. I doubt Rich will be back. Will Jonny Fairplay be back? He quit the last time he was there, so would they even want him back? Will Jerri come back? I'd think she'd have had enough of it after being out there twice. Russ will definitely be there, but I doubt he'll be able to fool as many people this time around. If they're smart, he's one of the first out.

ICAM that Russell should've won! I haven't seen the final show because when I found out that Natalie won I just plain lost interest. Stupid.

As for Villains vs Heroes. They filmed that one before this last season aired, so no one will know who Russell is or how he plays. I am looking forward to this season! And I am thrilled that Boston Rob is back! WooHoo! My all time favorite survivor player ever. I hope he makes it through this time. I don't remember who half the women are and the rest I can't stand. lol I am glad to see Jerry back. Don't mind Sugar too much. I was sick of Stephanie the first time around! Enough already. Anyway, this new season can't start quick enough for me!

Ok, I know this is way late, but we just finished watching the last episode. I just couldn't bear to watch it before knowing that Russell had lost! And I just have to say listening to all the self righteous BS almost made me hurl! Natalie played the exact same game in that she voted the same people out, blindsided the same people, etc... Yes, she rode Russell's coattails all the way, no she had no strategy except to do whatever Russell told her to do, but she still stabbed the same people in the back that he did so where is it that she took the moral high ground? BS!! Plain and simple they were mad at being outplayed by Russell and voted AGAINST him, not FOR her. This outcome upset me more than any other outcome in the history of the show! Including Ozzy, who I thought hands down deserved the win! Including Boston Rob who is still my all time favorite contestant, and Colby who I thought absolutely should've won over Tina! But Russell losing was just sour grapes. I am so furious over listening to them all stand up and say how his game was so awful, before they knew about the water and the socks, etc... and how Natalie's game should be rewarded. ugh! Gotta go do some deep breathing for the old blood pressure! lol
