No New Fringe Episodes Until 1/14/10

Dennis, the editor of fringetelevision.com has posted the Fringe schedule for 2010:

The next new episode is on January 14th. There will be 4 in a row, the last of those scheduled for February 4th.

Then there's a 7-week hiatus *groan*:( but then new episodes resume April 1st and continue until the Season 2 Finale.

You know, big hits like "24" and "LOST" can get away with a long hiatus.
A relatively new show like "Fringe" cannot.
With dumb moves like this, I fear this show will not last beyond season two.

It is very frustrating, indeed.
But I read somewhere that Fox does this to introduce new shows in the second half of the year, like the upcoming "Human Target," with Anna Torv's hubby, Mark Valley.
