Street Poetry by Dan Witz

Thud
part of "Poem down Broadway"

I was browsing through the incredible street art of Dan Witz when I came across one of his older projects (1980) where he hammered little metal letters into the hot, melting asphalt of NYC.  He says there were about 50 words down Broadway from 96th to the Battery that created a poem.

They've since sunken into the asphalt.
