That there is Dingus. Well that's what I call him because it seems to suit him and he has a giant 'D' on his forehead. Someone gave him to me as an opening night gift and now he sits on my desk as a little plastic muse.
Why bring him up now? Well because you just gotta know about Kidrobot, particularly since we're nearing the holiday season.
My little 2" toy up there is a limited edition that was painted by a particular artist. I really wish I could find the box and tell you which artist specifically was responsible for the little white rabbit, but I lost it in the mess I call my office.
Everything at Kidrobot is limited edition. Toys and clothes. Just yesterday I was drooling over this leather jacket. However, my favorite part is how you can paint your own little limited edition toys! They sell doll shaped blank canvases for you to customize yourself and you can snag their "Munny Crayons" if you're all out of painting supplies!
The blank doll link up there is just the tip of the iceberg. If you go here, you'll find ornament sized, big 18" dolls, some with cars and other props. It goes on and on and changes often. You can also find the dolls done by other artists.
So what a great stocking stuffer, right? You could paint a special doll for your special someone or give them to friends to paint their own. I think they'd be a big hit with kids.
Doesn't get much more Arts and Dafts, eh?

very interesting....I love the photo you took of your Dingus.
