When I was a kid, one of my favorite things about December besides Christmas was the Advent Calendar. Granted, we never had one quite as neato as this one, but I still loved opening it up and seeing the little pictures inside. It was a something fun to look forward to every day for a whole month!
Did I mention how easily amused I can be?
Anyhow, with December quickly approaching, I new that had to be this weeks find and the very moment I saw this one from Thymbl Designs, I fell instantly in love.
Each little pouch (24 in all) measures about 3.5"x5.1" and then there is one large pouch to hold them all during the off season (or if you so desire, to open one larger gift on Christmas day). They're made from natural white cotton and have a little "matryoshka" drawing with numbers for each day of the month on their shirts. The designer says that each little bag is "big enough for a sweet treat or a small toy." The whole set costs only $50.00
Talk about a gift that keeps on giving. This is a pretty timeless advent calendar you can use over and over again, leaving your own imagination to fill the bags.
