Etsy Wednesday - January's Visual Art

Row of Red Trees
"Row of Red Trees"
by David Robinson

A landscape is by no means a typical choice for me.  I tend to stray from them because they usually lack that certain bit of imagination I'm looking for in art, however that's obviously not the case with David Robinson's work.  He's managed to turn a simple row of trees into a story and most of all, a head turning piece of art.

At first I thought these were dark, maybe even a little creepy.  However, after staring at the pieces a little while longer, I realized that's really not the case.  The deep colors remind me more of dawn or dusk, that perfectly peaceful and quiet time of day.  The more I looked, the more at ease I became.

What you get when you order: All of the prints are $39.99 like "Row of Red Trees" pictured above. It's an 11" x 14" open edition print that comes with matting (16"x20") and also a certificate of authenticity.

However, if pricier originals are more your thing, you can get those too, like the one pictured below that sells for $349.99.  "Tribal Floral" is a set of three canvases which can be hung together or separated so in the end, I'd say the price is more than reasonable.

No matter whether you intend to buy or not, I really do insist you go check out the rest of the shop and let your imagination run wild.

I'm always looking for Etsy Wednesday submissions.  So if you found something you love or are a shop owner who think I might like what you have, please send an email to oda[@]daftcrafts[dot]com!
